Awkward Cher ♥

Since I don’t have wednesday classes, I’m stuck here at home. Also, the university cancelled school today due to the very bad weather. I sort of planned out my day today… 

Things I have to do:

 ☐ Revamp my tumblr again. Hihi. I have an idea in mind already! Woot woot! ☺

 ☐ Study for Sociedu, one of my majors. I think we might have a pop quiz tomorrow.

 ☐ Start on my wall art. I really need to start doing this already.

Well that’s it! Oh, also I need to visit a friend later. Looooong day ahead of me. Gosh. Anyway after this post, I’m starting to revamp my tumblr already. #cannotwait. Ahihihi. ♡

So last Sunday morning, I found myself motivated to clean and fix up my room. For some reason, some of my things were missing so I asked my mum where they could be, and she told me to check the attic. When I did, I got pretty caught up checking all the boxes there. Why? Because I found some pretty awesome vintage finds that I can display in my new room!! Hihi. Vintage finds such as…

1) Olympia: Traveller de Luxe typewriter

I was really happy when I found this typewriter because I’ve been wanting one ever since I can’t remember and I found! Finally!! There’s some problems with it though, but I can work with it. Hihi. ♥ 

2) Polly Pocket

This was my favorite toy when I was young!! I hadso much toys like this and I can’t seem to find them. I guess most of them are somewhere hiding in my attic. Haha. One day I’ll find them. Anyway, I just couldn’t resist bringing this down from the attic and displaying it in my room! ☺

3) Random boggle cubes

For some reason, I found a number of boggle cubes in one container (which isn’t the boggle container). I just decided to bring them down because first, I want to make a necklace out of it and second, I want to display some in my room. Hihi.

4) Reader’s Digest: Complete Guide to Sewing book

When I saw this book, I just lit up! I couldn’t believe we had this book and I didn’t even know about it!! It was my mum’s and she put it in the attic because she didn’t think I would ever need it but I do! I do! I browsed through the pages and I just found myself amazed with the things in it. It really is a complete guide to sewing. Haha! I can’t wait to start trying the things written in the book. ♡ 

Okay, the next 3 things you will see are the best finds that I found. I couldn’t stop smiling after I found them. Hihi.

So for number 5 & 6…

5) 2 Minolta Cameras

Lalalalalaaaaaaa… #SUPERHAPPY ♡

These two were my family’s old cameras. I just stop and stared and smiled like an idiot seeing these. I couldn’t believe it! I’m a photography enthusiast, I collect cameras and I really am in love with taking photos. That’s why when I found these two, I just… It left me speechless, happy and thankful (that my parents didn’t throw it away). Haha! I can’t wait to try it out! Hopefully they still work. ☺

6) My dad’s old school Polaroid Instant 30

Now, this is the best find ever!! This just made my day. Haha! I collect Polaroids and this will be the third Polaroid I have at home. I couldn’t believe it, for the longest time… I mean for the whole 20 years I lived in my home, I never knew we had a freakin Polaroid in our attic. When I found this, smiled like an idiot again and just couldn’t believe I found a real Polaroid in my room. So when I brought it, I had to call my dad and tell him about the cameras I found; there I found out that he was the owner of the Polaroid. Thank God my dad didn’t throw it away. Hihi. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! I still can’t believe I have another Polaroid. ☺ #happycher

Those were the little treasures hidden in my attic but now, they are the simple joys displayed in my room. I’m really thankful that I found them and I get to use some of them. I really just can’t wait to use them!! ♡

I finally found time to have ‘me’ time! Hihi. So lately it’s weird that I always have to do things for myself and then today’s classes got suspended. So I pretty much found time to catch on some things I needed to do, things like:

 ☑ fixing up my closet. (Yes, I did it. Finally finished it! It took me 1 1/2 days just to finish it. HAHAHA)

 ☐ edit the photos I took, the vintage things I found in our attic. Hihi. (#superstoked for this one) ♡

 ☐ tweak my tumblr once again. I really need to stop doing this but it’s just too much fun to stop. ☺

 ☐ oh, also do my room art. I have a plan for my room and I need to start doing this now, or maybe later after all the other things I need to do. :))

 ☐ and… I need to catch up on all the other series I just finished downloading and the ones that I haven’t started watching! I have Suits, and the new episodes of The Big Bang Theory, The Vampire Diaries, Community and Modern Family. 

So much to do and so little time. Oh well, good luck to me! Hahaha. ☺

Oh, I won’t forget to say this, please do pray for the Philippines. We need your prayers, the storm is just too crazy for us to handle on our own.
