Dinner, Friends, Just My Regular School Day.

LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY.

Last March 20, my very good friend Jemo invited me to have an early dinner with him before he left for Canada to visit his girlfriend! I haven’t seen him for about a year already and if this dinner didn’t push through, I won’t get to him for until I don’t know when. Haha! So I made sure that our dinner was going to happen. After my class for the day, we met up somewhere in school and he told that we were going to eat somewhere ‘near’ school. I expected it to be walking distance from school or something like that but no, we had to take a bus from school to go to this ‘mysterious’ restaurant.

We rode a bus from De La Salle University and went down Gil Puyat corner. If any of you guys know this corner street, it’s a bit sketchy. It’s not a street that I would go down to, unless I had to. Haha. Once we got down from the bus, we still had to walk a little to get to this restaurant. To tell you the truth, I got a little bit nervous because I knew that it wasn’t safe walking in that street but we got to the place safe anyway. Haha. 

The restaurant where Jemo brought me was placed in the middle of a very chaotic street. It was a small place with a ‘house-y’ vibe. There were only a few tables, a tv and… wait. Actually, I can’t explain it. Haha. Forgive me, I’m running out of words to explain this place. Just the check the photos, you might get what I’m trying to explain. ☺

Now, do you get what I was trying to explain? Haha. Anyway, here’s Jemo! I’ve known him ever since I was a freshman. I met him because of the first school organization I was a part of and because of that, I can say that our friendship has grew and has been through a lot. Haha. I’m very lucky to have met a guy like him! He’s one of the guys I can run to, when it comes to anything and I’m very thankful that I got to have dinner with him before he left. I don’t even know when I’ll see him again. I only get to see him, like once a year? Sad right? Oh well, hopefully we get to catch up more this year! ☺

I must say, their food is scrumptious! I didn’t expect it at all! I mean, come on. From the location of the place, to how the place looks like… I didn’t expect the food to be that good and it is! The stress of going to this was really worth it! Well I guess I’m a little bit biased too because I just love love love japanese food. Hihi. ♥

When I asked Jemo how he found this place, he told me that his friend brought him here and it was actually in a food blog where his friend discovered this place. Cool right?

After dinner, we just went back to the corner where we got down and just rode a bus again from there. The end! ☺ Hi Jemo, if you’re reading this, thank you for this dinner! Enjoy Canada! I know you’re already there, so take care and hope to see you soon! xx
