WHAT I WORE: ♪ MODERN GROOVE. ♬

Since the MYX Music Awards’ theme was 70’s, I was challenged to dress up to that theme. I really didn’t have much time to prepare a great 70’s outfit and even though my closet is full of clothes, for some reason, I always feel like I have nothing new to wear. Most especially for this theme, I didn’t have much clothes for it so I found myself pretty much challenged to make an outfit that fits the theme, with the ‘limited’ and I quote… ‘limited’ clothes I have at home. Haha!

And this is what I got…

I’ve had this polka dot corset for the longest time and it used to not fit me before because I was way too skinny before… And when I tried it the night before the event, it fit me! In short, I got fat. :| How great. #natt :)) Well technically, it was still a benefit for me that it fit because I had something to wear for the event!

{PS. Forgive the crappy close-up shots of my outfit}

I just matched the polka dot corset with my favorite bright pink bandage skirt! Added a few bright accessories, wore my shiny black pump with a pair of shiny socks! Tadah! Modern 70’s outfit!

What do you think about it? ☺

HYPE THIS LOOK: HERE ♥

WHAT I WORE:

Polka dot corset - Forever 21 (from States, Mum’s pasalubong for me!); Hot pink bandage skirt - Some side store in Hong Kong; White circle dangling earrings - A store in 50th Avenue; Hot pink flower ring - My mum’s pasalubong from States; Mixed colored bracelets - Wild Hearts. (Yes, my store. Hihi); Black clutch bag - Thrifted; Black pumps - Payless; Shimmery ankle socks - My sister’s socks, it was passed down to me! ;)

That’s all! Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed it! ♥

Behind the Scenes of The Second Shop Shoot!

Like them in facebook, click the link! ♥

So before February 25, Lexi Gancayco, the owner of The Second Shop, asked me if I wanted to model for her shop. I got so shocked and very flattered by this because I didn’t expect it at all. I got to model her shop already before but it was for a fashion blog that featured her shop so this was pretty much a different deal. Without hesitation, I said yes! This was a great opportunity for me and I thank Lexi and Jason, her boyfriend and business partner, for the opportunity they’ve given me! ☺

I went to a studio in Ortigas for the shoot! I got to work with Ashley Ramos, the other model Lexi got for 27th collection. Also, Tamara Pineda, the lovely make-up artist & Jason Santos, the photographer! They were all great! Hope to work with you guys again soon! Thank you for the wonderful experience! Teehee. ☺

I started my day right with the usually coffee breakfast fix from Starbucks. I am officially a coffee addict. Oops, I have rephrase that! I am officially a Starbucks addict! Haha. ☕

Once I got to the studio, I got nervous because I didn’t want to disappoint Lexi & Jason with my ‘modeling’. Hopefully I didn’t! Haha. :/

Clothes, shoes, accessories & make-up everywhere! ♥

These two are so cute together! I swear! My goodness! Hay nako. Hahaha! I’ll find myself a relationship like this one day! ♥

Greetings from me. Haha. My make-up was crazy good! Tamara made me pretty! Damn! I wish I could look pretty like this everyday, except without the falsies for my bottom eyelashes! :))

Here are some of the shots I had during the shoot:

Please do check out the 27th collection of The Second Shop! The clothes they’re selling are just to die for! I swear, I want it all, especially their shorts! Just gorgeous! ♥

Thank you for reading! Hope you guys enjoyed this post! Have a great Saturday!

BLUE REP @ 20.

I didn’t know what to wear for this event because I had no clue if there was a dress code or not so I just came up with this simple yet stylish outfit!

Black and beige were the colors of the day! I don’t know why but I just love those colors. I find it easy it play around with them! Also, those colors usually match the accessories I have at home. Haha. Most of the clothes I have at home are plain and neutral colored. Why? Because it’s easier to mix and match them plus you can use them everywhere, no matter what the occasion is. ☺

What I wore in this ensemble:

Black loose top from Maldita; bandage skirt from a random store; heels from Parisian; black sling bag, thrifted; the ring from Yuki (Check them out!) & the necklace from Wild Hearts (Yes, my store! Check us out!) ♥

My Katy Perry outfit! Yes, I do have Katy Perry shirt… Well, it used to be a shirt, now it’s a cut shirt. Haha. I really do have this addiction of cutting my shirts and turning them into tank tops or something close to that. :))

Not much to say, so here’s my outfit! Inspired by Katy Perry’s fashion, the 80’s. High waist shorts, oxford shoes and vintage feel. ♥

Eww! Forgive my ugly face. Hahaha.

“No Regrets. Just Love.” baller! Perfect for the concert! Hihi. ♥

Katy Perry shirt, a gift from my brother; dark blue high waisted shorts, thrifted; off white oxford shoes from Lady Pink, a side store in Hong Kong; maroon socks from my brother’s closet (HAHA); red rose ring from Chapel; and random ballers I’ve collected. ☺

12 January 2012.

Simple Plan was the event of the day! I just got a free pass for it, thanks to a friend. Thanks John! Haha. Anyway, the plan was to go to school then straight to the concert after; so I needed to find an outfit that fit the whole day, appropriate for school and also good enough for a concert.

And this is what I came up with…

{PS. My friends gave me a nickname before and it’s actually what’s written in my shirt! Wild Child. And until now, I don’t know why they gave me that name. ;))}

I wasn’t sure of what to wear at first but when I saw this shirt in my closet, I just knew that this was the perfect top to wear for the concert! Haha.

A big shirt from a random street store in Hong Kong, dotted stocking, beige socks from Cotton On, black combat boots from Sole Service, bonnet from Topman, skull ring from Wild Hearts, fangs ring from Yuki& a bracelet from Wild Hearts! ;)

Another style of my outfit! I was wearing black shorts under the big shirt. Wasn’t obvious right? Hihi. So what I did for this style was tuck in the front of the big shirt. Now see, it technically looks like a different outfit. Haha! ☺

What do you think about my outfit? Good or not? ☺

Anyway, that’s about it! Thanks for reading! ♥

11 January 2012.

This might not be the prettiest outfit out there but it is comfy and chill. I decided to dress up with a simple outfit but in a way, still looks fashionable. The trick is finding the perfect pieces to put together. ☺

An owl & elephant ring from a random bazaar.

Feather earrings! A Christmas gift from my lovely friend, Jessa! You might know her for her awesome blog! But if you don’t, check it out: http://jessaang.com/ ☺

Overall outfit: Plain black tank top (a gift from my mum), an off white lace vest (from Hong Kong), a brown woven belt (from Hong Kong)  & washed out maong high waist shorts (thrifted!). Paired with brown beaded sandals (from Matt Hews). ☺

Fashion tip: Simple is better. Don’t hesitate to mix and match simple pieces! Sometimes simple pieces mixed together turn out to be a great fashionable outfit! ♥

Also these rings will be part of the next collection too! Aren’t they pretty? I just love them! ♥

PS. Please forgive the photo. It’s pretty blurry. ☹
